International Admission Checklist
Required For Undergraduate Admission
- Completed Application for Admission
- High school transcripts in English. If transcripts are not in English, an official translation of the transcripts may be required.
- Canadian high school transcripts must all be sent to Maryville directly by the issuing body (ie. Ministry of Education).
- Official SAT or ACT test score (optional)
- Proof of English Proficiency
Note: If you are currently studying in the U.S., official transcripts from the domestic institution must be provided before admission.
Required For Graduate Admission
- Completed Application for Admission
- Bachelor’s degree transcripts and degree certificate (if graduated) in English. If transcripts and degree certificate are not in English, an official translation into English may be required.
- Proof of English Proficiency
Note: If you are currently studying in the U.S., official transcripts from the domestic institution must be provided before admission.
Required For I-20 Issuance
- Admission to Maryville University
- Advance Tuition Payment
- Certified proof of finances from within the past 3 months
- Affidavit of Support, if sponsored by another person
- Copy of passport photo page
- SEVIS Transfer (if transferring an existing I-20 to Maryville)
- International students in F-1 status enrolled at Maryville University are required to enroll in our group health insurance coverage. Maryville partners with Academic Health Plans (AHP) http://maryville.myahpcare.com/ to provide health insurance (GeoBlue Plan Summary) for our students. No further action is required to enroll in the AHP plan. You will be automatically billed through your student account and may access your insurance ID at the beginning of each enrollment period. Students on post-completion OPT are not eligible to remain on our group plan. We recommend these students pursue an individual health insurance plan.
